A Common Room for the Common Good
Through The Common Room, Zion Lutheran Church opens the gift of our historic space for the common good of our neighbors, welcoming them into events that connect, nourish, and inspire.
The Common Room is an affordable, accessible community space located in the beautiful sanctuary of Zion Lutheran Church in Downtown Pittsfield. Join artists, musicians, performers, nonprofits, and neighborhood groups in discovering the joy of building community in the Berkshires. Vibrant stained glass, gorgeous pine ceilings, and a welcoming atmosphere create an unforgettable venue for your event. From farmers markets to choir concerts, weekly yoga to annual fundraisers, board meetings to public presentations, we host a wide variety of organizations and events year-round. Weddings
The Common Room is a place that is sacred without being pretentious, a place where history meets possibility.
The Common Room was designed to be beautiful, flexible, and accessible. Our reasonable fees make The Common Room an affordable option for your Berkshires wedding. The clergy, staff musician, and facilities management personnel at Zion Lutheran Church are all included when you choose to hold your ceremony here, and you do not need to be directly affiliated with the church.
The Common Room is located in downtown Pittsfield and adjacent to the Common, a seven-acre park at the center of this historic city. There are a number of exceptional hotels, florists, and reception venues nearby. Plentiful parking is available directly across the street from the church.
